Copyright & Licensing Policy

The International Journal of Social Science and Humanities Research – MIYR (IJSSHR-MIYR) is a fully open access journal. All articles are freely accessible online immediately upon publication.

Copyright Ownership

Authors retain full copyright of their published work. Submission to IJSSHR-MIYR does not require transferring copyright to the publisher.

License to the Journal

Authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to:

  • Publish the article online and in print
  • Reproduce, distribute, and archive the article
  • Assign a DOI and ensure long-term digital preservation

This license does not restrict the authors from sharing or distributing their work elsewhere, including personal websites, institutional repositories, or other platforms.

Open Access and Reuse

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This allows anyone to:

  • Read, download, copy, distribute, print, and reuse the article in any medium
  • Use the work for any lawful purpose, including commercial and non-commercial purposes
  • Properly cite and attribute the original authors and source

Publishing Agreement

Following acceptance of a manuscript, the corresponding author is required to complete and sign a Publishing Agreement on behalf of all authors.

The Publishing Agreement confirms that:

  • The authors retain copyright of the published work.
  • The authors grant MIYR Press the non-exclusive rights necessary to publish, reproduce, distribute, and archive the article.
  • The article will be published under the CC BY 4.0 license.
  • All authors have approved the final manuscript and its publication.
  • The authors agree to comply with the journal's applicable publication ethics and editorial policies.

The Publishing Agreement does not constitute a transfer of copyright ownership from the authors to MIYR Press.

The signed agreement is retained by the journal as part of the publication record. It is not normally made publicly available unless otherwise required or authorized.

Third-Party Material

If the manuscript contains content for which copyright belongs to third parties (e.g., images, tables, datasets), the authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions and clearly citing the original source.

Third-party materials may be subject to copyright or licensing terms different from those applying to the article as a whole.

Ethical Implementation

The Editorial Team and Editorial Board ensure that the journal’s open access and licensing policies are applied ethically, transparently, and in accordance with internationally recognized standards of academic publishing.
