Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • 1. The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • 2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
  • 3. The manuscript is written in clear academic English.
  • 4. The manuscript includes the following components:
    • Title of the article
    • Author information (entered only in the OJS metadata fields)
    • Abstract (150–250 words)
    • 4–6 keywords
    • Main text
    • References
  • 5. Original research articles should normally be between 4,000 and 8,000 words, excluding references.
  • 6. The manuscript is formatted using:
    • Times New Roman, 11-point font
    • 1.5 line spacing
    • 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins on all sides
  • 7. In-text citations and references follow APA 7th edition style. References are listed alphabetically and include DOIs where available (e.g., https://doi.org/xxxxx).
  • 8. All figures and tables are placed within the text at appropriate points.
  • 9. The manuscript has been checked for plagiarism (e.g., Turnitin or iThenticate). Submissions with a similarity index above 15% may be rejected.
  • 10. Any use of AI tools (e.g., for language editing, data analysis, or formatting) has been properly disclosed in the manuscript.
  • 11. To ensure a double-blind peer review process, all author names, affiliations, and identifying information have been removed from the manuscript file.

Author Guidelines

1. Article Types

The journal accepts the following types of submissions:

  • Original Articles (full research papers)
  • Review Articles
  • Case Studies
  • Short Communications

All article types undergo a double-blind peer review process.


2. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English and include:

  • Title
  • Author(s) information (name, affiliation, email)
  • Abstract (150–250 words)
  • Keywords (4–6 terms)
  • Main text (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion)*
  • References

*Results and Discussion may be combined or separate, depending on study design.

Length:

  • Original Articles: 4,000–8,000 words (excluding references)

Double-Blind Submission:

  • Remove all identifying information (names, affiliations, acknowledgements, self-identifying references) from the manuscript file.
  • Author information must be entered only in the OJS metadata fields.

3. Formatting Requirements

  • Font: Times New Roman, 11 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm)
  • File format: Microsoft Word (.docx)
  • References: APA 7th Edition (include DOIs where available)

4. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically via the journal’s Open Journal Systems (OJS):

  • Author registration required
  • Submission acknowledgement within 3 business days

5. Peer Review Policy

  • All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by Editorial Board members and 2–3 independent reviewers.
  • Timeline: Total processing time ~7–8 weeks, reviewer evaluation ~4 weeks
  • Final decisions made by Editor-in-Chief; submissions authored by the Editor-in-Chief are handled by another editor

Review Criteria:

  • Relevance and originality
  • Theoretical and practical significance
  • Creativity and logical structure
  • Impact on education, policy, or society
  • Adequacy of methodology and analysis
  • Quality of writing and presentation

6. Publication Ethics

  • The journal follows COPE guidelines.
  • Authors must ensure:

          – Originality of submitted work

          – Proper citation and acknowledgment

         – No simultaneous submission to other journals

  • Plagiarism: Manuscripts are checked via Turnitin/iThenticate; similarity >15% may lead to rejection.
  • AI Tools: Permitted only for language editing, formatting, or data analysis. AI cannot generate original content or be listed as an author. Disclosure is mandatory.

7. Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • Submission (Review) Fee: MNT 130,000 (non-refundable)
  • Publication Fee: MNT 374,000 (upon acceptance)

No additional charges for color figures, supplementary materials, or online access. Fee waivers or discounts may be granted under special circumstances. Payment does not guarantee acceptance.


8. Open Access and Copyright

  • Open Access: All articles are freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication.
  • Copyright: Authors retain copyright of their work.
  • License: All articles are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
  • Non-exclusive license: Authors grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the article in all formats while retaining authorship rights.

9. DOI and Indexing

      • All articles are assigned a DOI via Crossref.
      • Articles are indexed in Google Scholar for enhanced discoverability.

Submissions should be original in synthesis and interpretation, well-structured, and relevant to the journal’s scope. All review articles will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure rigorous and unbiased evaluation

Case Studies

Case study articles provide an in-depth analysis of specific cases, offering practical and theoretical insights. Submissions should include clear case descriptions, systematic analysis, and logical conclusions, and be relevant to the journal’s scope. All case study articles will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure rigorous and unbiased evaluation.

Short Communications

Short communications present concise and timely reports of significant research findings or novel ideas. Submissions should be brief, focused, and clearly structured, highlighting the main contribution without extensive background or discussion. All short communications will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure rigorous and unbiased evaluation.
