Author Guidelines

1. Article Types

The journal accepts the following types of submissions:

  • Original Articles (full research papers)
  • Review Articles
  • Case Studies
  • Short Communications

All article types undergo a double-blind peer review process.


2. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English and include:

  • Title
  • Author(s) information (name, affiliation, email)
  • Abstract (150–250 words)
  • Keywords (4–6 terms)
  • Main text (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion)*
  • References

*Results and Discussion may be combined or separate, depending on study design.

Length:

  • Original Articles: 4,000–8,000 words (excluding references)

Double-Blind Submission:

  • Remove all identifying information (names, affiliations, acknowledgements, self-identifying references) from the manuscript file.
  • Author information must be entered only in the OJS metadata fields.

3. Formatting Requirements

  • Font: Times New Roman, 11 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm)
  • File format: Microsoft Word (.docx)
  • References: APA 7th Edition (include DOIs where available)

4. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically via the journal’s Open Journal Systems (OJS):

  • Author registration required
  • Submission acknowledgement within 3 business days

5. Peer Review Policy

  • All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by Editorial Board members and 2–3 independent reviewers.
  • Timeline: Total processing time ~7–8 weeks, reviewer evaluation ~4 weeks
  • Final decisions made by Editor-in-Chief; submissions authored by the Editor-in-Chief are handled by another editor

Review Criteria:

  • Relevance and originality
  • Theoretical and practical significance
  • Creativity and logical structure
  • Impact on education, policy, or society
  • Adequacy of methodology and analysis
  • Quality of writing and presentation

6. Publication Ethics

  • The journal follows COPE guidelines.
  • Authors must ensure:

          – Originality of submitted work

          – Proper citation and acknowledgment

         – No simultaneous submission to other journals

  • Plagiarism: Manuscripts are checked via Turnitin/iThenticate; similarity >15% may lead to rejection.
  • AI Tools: AI-assisted tools may be used for appropriate purposes such as language improvement, grammar checking, translation, formatting, or technical assistance. AI tools must not be listed as authors. Any substantive use of generative AI for generating text, analysis, interpretation, data processing, or other intellectual contributions must be appropriately disclosed in the manuscript. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work.

7. Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • Submission (Review) Fee: MNT 130,000 (non-refundable)
  • Publication Fee: MNT 374,000 (upon acceptance)

No additional charges for color figures, supplementary materials, or online access. Fee waivers or discounts may be granted under special circumstances. Payment does not guarantee acceptance. 

Payment of APCs does not influence editorial decisions or guarantee acceptance. Editorial decisions are based solely on the academic quality, relevance, originality, methodological rigor, and peer review of the manuscript.


8. Open Access and Copyright

  • Open Access: All articles are freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication.
  • Copyright: Authors retain copyright of their work.
  • License: All articles are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
  • Non-exclusive license: Authors grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the article in all formats while retaining authorship rights.

9. DOI and Indexing

  • All accepted and published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref.
  • Article metadata and DOI information are deposited with Crossref to support persistent identification and scholarly discoverability.
  • Articles are indexed in Google Scholar, subject to Google Scholar's indexing and inclusion processes.
  • The journal is listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), subject to the journal's continued compliance with DOAJ requirements.

10. Post-Acceptance Requirements

Following the acceptance of a manuscript, the corresponding author is required to complete and submit the following documents before the article proceeds to final production and publication:

10.1 Author Information and Publication Confirmation Form

The corresponding author must complete the Author Information and Publication Confirmation Form to confirm:

  • Final author names, affiliations, and publication order
  • Corresponding author information
  • ORCID identifiers, where available
  • Author contributions and authorship approval
  • Ethical approval and informed consent, where applicable
  • Originality and exclusive submission status
  • Conflict of interest disclosure
  • Funding information
  • Acknowledgements
  • Thesis, dissertation, research project, conference presentation, or preprint-related information, where applicable
  • Author biographies, where required by the journal

The corresponding author confirms that all listed authors have reviewed and approved the final manuscript, author order, and publication of the article.

10.2 Publishing Agreement

Before publication, the corresponding author must complete and sign the Publishing Agreement on behalf of all authors.

The Publishing Agreement confirms that:

  • Authors retain copyright of the published work.
  • Authors grant MIYR Press a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, and archive the article.
  • The article will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
  • All authors have approved the final version of the manuscript and its publication.
  • The authors agree to comply with the journal's publication ethics and editorial policies.

The Publishing Agreement does not transfer copyright ownership from the authors to MIYR Press.

10.3 Final Proof and Publication

After the required post-acceptance documents have been received and applicable publication fees have been settled, the manuscript proceeds to the production stage.

Authors may be asked to review the final proof and confirm that any necessary corrections have been addressed before publication.
